“When the righteous increase, the people rejoice, but when the wicked rule, the people groan.” Proverbs 29:2
Yes, Planned Parenthood is praying for you…to stay home next Tuesday. While the “big ticket” campaigns are set for 2018, across the state next week, Georgians will vote for local elected officials who will have a profound impact- one way or another- on our values.
And, don’t forget the numerous special elections for State House and State Senate that will help determine the direction of state policy.
While we have, so far, made one endorsement (Tina Trent for HD 26), we are also watching HD 4, HD 119, and SD 6 with great interest. Those are races where we are considering making an endorsement in the runoff.
Already in 2017, Planned Parenthood and radical leftist groups have spent BIG money in Georgia and they are looking to do more to turn Georgia blue in the years ahead. We are counting on you to join us by engaging in biblical citizenship, showing up to vote, and pushing back against those hostile to our values!
This is a big part of why we are here- Scripture contains numerous exhortations to select wise leaders. We believe that engaging actively in elections is a vital part of our mission to achieve a Georgia where God is honored, religious freedom flourishes, families thrive, and life is cherished. Can we count on your support for our election efforts with a generous gift?
A humble prayer request- I normally use this space to lift up a particular organizational or Georgia political prayer request, but, if you’ll allow, I will ask that you indulge me with a personal request. This week, my beautiful wife is entering the third trimester of her pregnancy with our third son. With our previous two boys there have been difficulties and minor complications in the home stretch, and I ask that you lift her and the baby up in your prayers if you feel so led.
In His Service,
President and Executive Director
