Three great pro-life bills that will save lives currently hang in the balance in Santa Fe, and your quick help is needed to move them forward!

Please contact the Governor’s Office today and urge Governor Martinez to add House Bills 56, 75, and 76 to the Legislative Session agenda. During a 30-day session, bills unrelated to the budget, appropriations, and revenue must receive a special message from the Governor in order to be considered.

Here’s a brief overview of the three bills:

  • House Bill 56, sponsored by Representatives Rick Little and David Gallegos, is the Parental Notification of Abortion Act. It would require notification of a parent or guardian when an abortion is to be performed on a minor, with some exceptions.
  • House Bill 75, sponsored by Representatives Rod Montoya, Yvette Herrell, and David Gallegos, is the Born Alive Definitions & Medical Care Act. It would require proper medical care be given to infants who survive an abortion.
  • House Bill 76, sponsored by Representatives Yvette Herrell, Rod Montoya, and David Gallegos, is the Partial-Birth & Late-Term Abortions Act. It would prohibit late-term abortion on an infant of 20 or more weeks gestational age, with some exceptions.

We’ve made it simple to communicate this request to the Governor. Simply visit our Action Center and you can send this message in 30 seconds!

Also, please forward or share this message with friends. It’s important that the Governor hear from as many people as possible.

Finally, after you’ve emailed the Governor, please also call her office at (505) 476-2200 and leave the same message.

Thank you for making your voice heard and standing for life!
