Urgent Alert: Ask Your Senator to Vote For the Pain-Capable Abortion Ban
On Monday, the U.S. Senate will vote on the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act.
Research has made clear that unborn babies can feel horrific pain by the time they are 20 weeks old. Yet America is one of just seven countries that allows elective abortions after 20 weeks. That is unconscionable and needs to stop!
This bill bans abortions after 20-weeks, with limited exceptions. Similar measures have already passed in a number of states, and now is the time to extend these common-sense protections to all of America. The U.S. House passed this bill in October – now it’s up to the Senate!
Please, regardless of how you think your senators may vote, urge them to support this bill. Your voice will strengthen the resolve of pro-life senators, weaken the enthusiasm of pro-abortion senators, and potentially help win over some senators who are reportedly wavering.
Speaking up to your senator only takes a few moments on our Action Center. Please make your voice heard today!
