Hawaii Governor Ige will very soon decide whether or not to sign House Bill 2739 that would allow doctors to prescribe a lethal dose of drugs to anyone who has been “qualified” to end their own life.
The so-called protections in this bill are weak and will do little to prevent abuses from taking place. That puts the disabled and the elderly particularly at risk.
