In just four weeks, you and other Georgians will have an opportunity to change the culture of our state. Imagine a state where God is honored, religious freedom flourishes, families thrive, and life is cherished. That process can take a quantum leap forward (or backward) based on what happens when we exercise our responsibility to vote on May 22.
Because we, as people of faith, need to make our voices heard, I want to encourage you to devote extra time to prayer over the next four weeks. Also, remember that the last day to register to vote (if you have not already) is TODAY, Tuesday, April 24th. Early voting begins April 30th.
Over the years, many Christians have been tempted to take a more relaxed posture toward primaries- instead, relying on the hope that one Party will put forward a candidate that will share our values. DO NOT FALL INTO THIS TRAP! To see how different some candidates in the primary are, please view this video of our endorsed candidate for governor, Michael Williams, debating religious freedom with the “Establishment pick” in that race.
Family Policy Alliance of Georgia continues to roll out endorsements and information on supported candidates. To keep track of our efforts all over the state, please make sure to like and follow our Facebook page.
More endorsements will be announced later this week and next, but here is a list of the candidates that we have already announced our support of:
Candidate for Governor: Senator Michael Williams
Candidate for Lt. Governor: Senator David Shafer
Re-election for State Senator: Senator Marty Harbin
Re-election for State Senator: Senator Chuck Payne
Candidate for State Senator: Matt Reeves
Candidate for State House: Ken Pullin
Candidate for State House: Kipper Tabb
Candidate for State House: Sam Thomas
I encourage you to pray for these bold leaders. Each has been thoroughly vetted by our team and is endorsed because of their commitment to vigorously fighting to end the killing of unborn babies, the assault on religious freedom, and the encroachment on the family. If you have any questions about any of these candidates, please feel free to email me.
Because this election matters,
