Atlanta–Today, Family Policy Alliance of Georgia announced its endorsement of Geoff Duncan in his bid to be the next Lt. Governor of Georgia. The organization, focused on pro-family issues, believes Duncan would be a key member of a conservative team that, along with Brian Kemp, would place Georgia in a position of national leadership.

“It has been evident on the campaign trail that Geoff Duncan is a man who puts his family first and is campaigning for a better, stronger Georgia for the next generation, including his own three sons, who will inherit our state,” said Cole Muzio, President and Executive Director of Family Policy Alliance of Georgia. “His passion for families translates to strong, pro-family policy positions that are backed by a stellar record in public office.”

While Muzio believes Duncan excelled as a state representative, he believes there is much more to the hopeful leader of the Senate.

“The momentum behind Geoff’s campaign comes from his strong principles, personal story, and leadership- not because he is an established politician,” added Muzio. “As a state representative, he displayed a willingness to go against the grain, and he has pledged to continue to put policy over politics. He was guided by his executive business experience and commitment to faith and family, and these core convictions are why his former colleagues speak of him so highly. I am confident that Geoff will bring these qualities, background, and sense of determination as he leads our state.”

Family Policy Alliance of Georgia, which has already endorsed Brian Kemp for Governor, encouraged its members to “exceed the enthusiasm” of the other side in rallying behind the Kemp-Duncan team.

“This is a team that will deliver results for you and your family.” Muzio concluded. “It’s a conservative team, a pair of leaders, and a duo that is committed to standing firm against the onslaught of the Left. Brian Kemp and Geoff Duncan understand Georgia, and they care about its people. Both are fathers who are committed to opportunity and to freedom, and I believe they will set our state on a path that will benefit all Georgians today as well as future generations to come.”

Family Policy Alliance of Georgia is the state-based ally of the national Family Policy Alliance. Cole Muzio is available for comment by contacting Autumn Leva, Media@familypolicyalliance.com.
