Hollywood and Planned Parenthood Partner to Advance Abortion

Two musical notes, E and F, played in just a certain way, evoke a range of emotions for a generation of movie goers. Those two notes played repeatedly bring a cold dread and the fear that a giant shark will jump out of the screen to devour the viewer.

The power of cinema to persuade has been seen over and over since the dawn of the silver screen over 100 years ago. Each generation has its movies stars, soundtracks, quotes and “one liners” that instantly take them back to that place in high school where they swapped stories with their friends.

Movies are so powerful because they draw the viewer in and make them a part of the life the actor is portraying. But the emotional power of movies can make them so prone to abuse.

This past week, Nora Caplan Bricker, a freelance journalist publishing in the Washington Post, informed us that Planned Parenthood, the abortion industry giant, has advised Hollywood on more than 150 movies over the past 5 years.

Even as research shows that millennials are increasingly at odds with the abortion on demand message, Hollywood is doubling down its promotion. At the height of scandals outlining Planned Parenthood’s role in the sale of body parts from preborn babies back in 2016, the terrible messaging of abortion continued through the actors and scripts of the movie industry.

Thankfully, in spite of the all-out effort to promote the abortion business, Planned Parenthood has lost about $160 million dollars over the past couple of years as Americans have been made aware of the massive amounts of federal funds given to the abortion giant.

In contrast, The Christian influence of pregnancy-resource centers and pro-life legislators, standing for those who cannot yet stand for themselves, has shown a better way to help our society.

It has always been the message of hope, love and compassion that has driven the efforts of those who work tirelessly to preserve the lives of the preborn and born. This is the message the Family Policy Alliance brings to Wyoming. By standing with allies in the ongoing struggle to preserve the lives of the next generation, we shine a light of hope.

Would you stand with us as we start our fiscal New Year and donate to the founding of this important new ministry in the state of Wyoming.?

If you would like to do so, please visit our website and help Wyoming be a place where God is honored, religious freedom flourishes, families thrive and life is cherished.
