Idahoans bitten by the travel bug have likely seen the “Choose Life” license plates that are available in 32 states. These license plates spread a positive pro-life message of love and hope with the words “Choose Life” emblazoned for all to see. Even better, “Choose Life” plates raise tens of millions of dollars for pregnancy resource centers in the states where they are offered.
“Choose Life” license plates could be coming to Idaho—but we need your help.
Sen. Regina Bayer (R-Meridian) has introduced Senate Bill 1249, which would add “Choose Life” as a new special interest license plate available at the Idaho DMV. Of each $35 plate registration fee, $22 will be given to local pregnancy resource centers.
Pregnancy resource centers compassionately provide care and practical assistance to women with unplanned pregnancies. The wide range of services supplied by these nonprofit centers give women alternatives to abortion and promote a culture of life.
Those of us at Family Policy Alliance® know that you support providing unexpectedly pregnant women with hope and care. The “Choose Life” license plates help pregnancy resource centers to do exactly that!
HERE’S WHAT YOU CAN DO: The Senate Transportation Committee hearing for S. 1249 will take place sometime next week. Use our Action Center to send an email to key committee members asking them to support this important proposal. It only takes thirty seconds of your time, but you can make a difference for life by taking action now!
