Why Send Your Children to Public Schools?

The obvious answer is, “To Get a Good Education.” But is that what our children are getting in today’s public schools?

Mary Ellen Siegler of Massachusetts Family Institute began a Facebook Group called Massachusetts Informed Parents. The group, which brings awareness to the push for “comprehensive sex education,”  has grown exponentially because moms and dads are finding out that public school curriculum is often a “Trojan Horse” for ideologies to which most parents would strongly object and which are harmful to children and youth. Mary Ellen’s most recent post highlighted the dangerous days on many public school calendars meant to promote a radical sexual ideology. These celebratory days are not the ones you or I celebrated in school growing up!

Parents, be sure to check if any of these days are on your child’s school calendar (Click on the image to the right to get a larger printable version of this list)::

If you’re concerned that public school is not a good option for your child – whether because of COVID confusion or because of the radical ideologies taught in school – it might be a good time to think about alternatives like homeschooling or a Christian school. Below is a list of some of the Christian schools in Rhode Island you might consider. While we don’t specifically  endorse these schools – and you should find out if there are other good Christian schools in your area – hopefully this list can help you start your hunt! The costs range from $2,500 to $15,000.
