“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” -Romans 8:28
Dear Friends—
I need your help.
One of the encouraging stories of 2020 has been the faithful and sacrificial generosity of ministry partners like you. Though our giving was understandably impacted by COVID in the Spring, we ultimately hit our fundraising target for the fiscal year ending September 30.
Today, I am coming to you with an opportunity to DOUBLE your impact and investment in our work. Thanks to a generous ministry partner, Family Policy Foundation of New Jersey has a $25,000 year-end matching grant, meaning that every gift you send today will be matched dollar-for-dollar.
As of today, we have only raised $2,950 toward our $25,000 match.
Will you help us raise the remaining $22,050 today?
If you have not yet given this year, or if you have given and would like to further help us reach our match goal, I invite you to do so by sending a gift of $50, $100, $250, or $500.
Beyond what you can give, I also want to thank you for what you have done!
First, the NJ License to Kill Act (formerly the so-called Reproductive Freedom Act) was not added to the Health Committee hearings this week. THRIVE NJ, the abortion lobbyist coalition, was pressuring the chairs of both the Senate and Assembly Health Committees to add this bill to their agenda on Monday and Thursday. But because of your calls and your presence at protests across the state, the bill has not been scheduled for a hearing. Thank you for your help in opposing this dangerous and radical bill. Additional protests and phone campaigns will be forthcoming.
Secondly, because of your activism, the LGBT textbook database bill was removed from the Senate agenda two weeks ago at the last minute. I, along with our volunteer legislative captains, have been in contact with key senators and bill sponsors to share our concerns on these types of bills that violate the fundamental religious beliefs of millions of New Jerseyeans. The NJDOE is now in the process of amending this bill because of the widespread opposition against it.
Thank you for your prayers, financial support, and engagement!
Let’s win back NJ,
Shawn Hyland
