“For I will satisfy the weary soul, and every languishing soul I will replenish.” – Jeremiah 31:25

Dear Friends,

This last week I had the honor of gathering with Family Policy Council state leaders, national Family Policy Alliance leaders, legislators from across the country, and other allied groups in a collaboration effort that brought water to my thirsty soul.

From grassroots programs to passing legislation, I have come home replenished and excited for the tools I have for New Mexico.

In the coming months, we will be focusing our efforts on new legislation to address current concerns in the 2023 session, grassroots efforts to mobilize and unleash biblical citizenship in the coming election and supporting and equipping our precious pregnancy centers as they gear up for the influx of women in need.

In a state where death has been the predominant culture, we must begin to nourish hearts and minds towards the joy of life. Each of these efforts that we will be focusing on will do just that, but we need your help to start the wave of compassion and life across our state.

“But what can I do, Jodi?”

There are multiple needs that we must meet in order to see success in these efforts:

  • Prayer – Pray specifically for our conservative candidates! Pray for funding that will allow them to run effective campaigns, for wisdom in speech, and compassion in community.
  • GivingWe need to raise $2,500 for our Candidate Scorecard project that will inform voters on candidates’ standing in regards to Marriage, Family, Life and Education.
  • Volunteers – We need volunteers to help in the mobilization of our educational efforts (for more information, contact me directly at jodi@nmfam.org).

I believe we can fill these needs because of people like you! You just have to say YES. Please, join the FAM as we bring compassion and life to the Land of Enchantment.

Standing Firm,

Jodi Hendricks
