Family Policy Alliance of Idaho Commends Governor Little for Signing Simon’s Law
(Virtual Press Conference 11am (MT) March 31)

BOISE, IDAHO — Late today, Governor Brad Little (R) announced that he has signed Idaho’s “Simon’s Law” requiring hospitals give parents 48 hours’ notice before implementing an order to withhold life-sustaining treatment from minor children.

Blaine Conzatti, Director of Advocacy for Family Policy Alliance of Idaho, noted: “We are grateful Governor Little signed this law, making sure that what happened to Simon Crosier’s parents will never happen to a family in Idaho.”

Reporters are invited to join a virtual press conference tomorrow to hear more about this important development and from affected families.

Simon’s Law – Virtual Press Conference

When: Tuesday – March 31, 2020 – 11:00 am MT

Where: Family Policy Alliance Facebook Page

Mr. Conzatti will speak live with Sheryl Crosier, mother of Simon Crosier, a St. Louis boy who died after doctors placed a “DNR” in his file and removed life-sustaining treatment without his parents’ knowledge.

He will also be joined by the Enzminger family from Eagle, Idaho whose daughter, Tabitha, is thriving despite her Trisomy-18 diagnosis which at one time threatened her ability to receive life-saving medical care.

Please join Conzatti, Crosier and the Enzminger family tomorrow at 11:00 AM MT to hear more about this important development for parental rights in Idaho.
