In recent months, we’ve witnessed huge wins for the #SaveGirlsSports movement.

In the first weeks of his presidency, President Trump signed an executive order titled “Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports,” which aims to prevent males from participating in female sports by revoking federal funds from schools that allow such participation, citing violations of Title IX.

The U.S. Olympics Committee and universities like UPenn have finally fallen into line, barring men who believe they are women from competing in women’s sports, and U.S. Customs & Immigration will no longer issue visas to men who intend to compete against women.

But the job is not done. The protections the Trump administration has extended to women and girls must be cemented into law by the states…or they could be overturned as soon as he leaves office.

26 individual states have already passed legislation protecting women and girls––but women and girls in the remaining 24 states continue to face unsafe and unfair competition.
