STATE OF THE STATES

As many had hoped, Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization was the case that overturned Roe v. Wade’s after more than 49 years. This is wonderful news for restoring a culture of life in America! But there’s a big question that most everyone is asking.

Now that the Supreme Court has returned the regulation of abortion back to all 50 states, what does my state look like in a world after Roe?

Family Policy Alliance, in partnership with the network of state-based family policy councils we host, has developed an After Roe Map. Simply click on your state to learn what your state’s laws on abortion will look like after Roe v. Wade.

  • Will your state instantly start to ban abortion?
  • If not, what kind of limitations will your state have?
  • Will your state see no change even if Roe is overturned?
  • Will your state ensure that medical professionals are protected from being forced to participate in abortions?
  • And, what are the biggest threats to life facing your state?

BONUS: In most states, when you click on your state, you will see a special video message from your state’s family policy leader on what the top threats and priorities are for your state.
