Melissa McKay is an Utah mother of five and a leading expert in device and online safety. She has helped draft Congressional testimony, led three national online safety movements, and collaborated with tech companies to improve safety features. She played a critical role in conceptualizing, writing, and passing Utah’s App Store Accountability Act (ASAA), the first law of its kind in the world to hold app stores more accountable for child protection and re-empower parents to protect their kids online. In her free time, she enjoys long walks with her husband, yoga, and spending time with her children.
