The Chloe Cole Act of 2026

February 20, 2026

We have an exciting update from Washington, D.C.: the Chloe Cole Act of 2026 has been introduced in Congress.

Named after Chloe Cole, a courageous young woman who detransitioned after undergoing irreversible transgender procedures as a child, this legislation represents a bold step toward ending the harmful practice of chemical and surgical experiments on children.

Introduced in September 2025 by Sen. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., in the Senate (S.2907) and Rep. Bob Onder, R-Mo., in the House (H.R. 5483), the bill prohibits transgender procedures on minors and creates a private right of action for children who have been transitioned, giving these kids and their parents the ability to sue those involved as complications arise.

The Department of Justice is running with this bill, and FPA worked hand in glove with them to write it, making it a mirror image of our Help Not Harm legislation that continues to pass in states across the country.

With your support, FPA will continue advancing policies that uphold biblical truths, ensure families thrive and safeguard the vulnerable, especially our children, as we push back against radical gender ideology.

For families,

Dylan Jeremiah
Vice President, Government Affairs
