With the legislative session underway, it’s not too early to unify behind our pro-life, pro-family legislators who have been doing a great job for us under the Gold Dome.
That’s why I’m proud to endorse my good friend, Rep. Kasey Carpenter.
Many of you know Kasey because he’s a visible face in the community. You’ve eaten at his restaurant, you’ve seen him at events, and you’ve seen how accessible he is. It’s hard not to like Kasey, and it’s almost impossible to miss his boisterous personality that fills a room.
What you may not have seen is how hard he fights for you, your family, and the interests of your community at the Capitol.
Kasey was unflinching in his support of the Heartbeat Bill, and he’s been a stalwart in championing the free exercise of faith in our schools – even when radical liberals threatened to protest his business. He’s also been a relentless advocate for the needs of Northwest Georgia, its prosperity, and the well-being of its families. Winning people over with his knowledge, integrity, and collegiality, it’s easy to see why– despite serving for just a short time – Kasey is already one of the most effective leaders under the Gold Dome. I’m proud to stand with him as he continues to represent the 4th District, and I encourage you to do the same.
On a personal note, I’d like to add that it was a great honor to host Kasey at the Family Policy Foundation’s Statesmen Academy last summer – aimed at equipping Christian legislators to make an even bigger impact. I’ve had an opportunity to hear about his relationship with the Lord, sense how much he loves his family, and see the sacrifices he makes to serve. I’m honored to consider him a friend, and I hold him in high esteem.
I doubt much of this is news to you, and I expect that many of you have seen what I’m expressing here. For those of you who haven’t gotten to know Kasey Carpenter, however, I encourage you to do so and to stand with us in supporting his campaign for re-election.
