Three dangerous bills are either on the Governor’s desk already or could arrive soon. Will you speak up to the Governor today?
All three advance the anti-science and anti-family transgender agenda. Your action is needed to keep the Granite State from plunging headlong into the implementation of that activist agenda.
Thanks to our allies at Cornerstone Action, here’s a summary of the bills:
- HB 669 would let people choose gender “X” (meaning neither male nor female) on their driver’s license or non-drivers’ identification cards. This reinforces the notion that gender is a subjective matter of feeling, and it codifies a logic that defies physical, scientific and metaphysical reality. This bill is already at the governor’s desk.
- HB 446 allows an individual to obtain a new birth certificate to reflect a sex designation other than that which was assigned at birth. Sex designations permitted under the bill are: Male, Female, and Neither Male Nor Female. Given their importance for law enforcement, medical records and scientific research, vital records should not be altered based on a person’s subjective feelings or experiences. As we write, this bill faces a final concurrence vote in the House. Assuming it passes, it could be on the Governor’s desk any day.
- SB 263 takes the transgender agenda in full force to New Hampshire public schools. It would allow lawsuits against schools for a host of things, including not addressing a student with pronouns that reflect their transgender identity. It would force schools to allow boys onto girls’ teams with the simple claim of a female identity. And that is just a sampling of its impact. SB 263 is nearing a vote in the House that, if it passes, would send it to the Governor.
Here’s What You Can Do:
- Please call Gov. Sununu at (603) 271-2121 and ask him to veto HB 669, as well as HB 446 and SB 263 if they reach his desk.
- Please ALSO send him a quick email. You can do it in just moments on our Action Center.
- Please pass this along to others, so they can take action, too!
Finally, please stay tuned to Cornerstone Action for the latest on these and other bills.
Thanks for making your voice heard!

Gov. Sununu is about to decide whether two dangerous bills become law in New Hampshire. Your voice is needed to urge him to veto them.
We told you last month about one of them, HB 587. It would push many minors toward transgenderism – by allowing counseling that encourages them toward sex change, but banning counseling that helps them identify with their birth sex. The same would apply to kids with unwanted same-sex attractions. This bill would create a one-way street for New Hampshire kids – towards transgenderism and homosexuality.
The other bill is HB 1319, which creates a special class of civil rights based on “gender identity.” As our friends at Cornerstone Action observe, all New Hampshire residents are already protected under anti-discrimination law. This bill simply creates special rights for a few people on the basis of “gender identity.” If this bill becomes law, any man who claims to be a woman will be allowed to use women’s locker rooms, showers and bathrooms. It will also create inequities in sports, scholarships, etc.
Here’s what you can do:
- Please send a note to the Governor, asking him to veto both of these bills. You can reach him with just a click at our Action Center.
- Please pass this email along to friends so they can make their voice heard as well.
Thank you for taking action!

A New Hampshire Senate committee is about to vote on a bill that would push many minors towards transgenderism. Your quick help is needed to stop it!
House Bill 587 is what is known as a “therapy ban.” It would ban professional counseling for children and teens who are struggling with their gender identity. But the ban would ONLY forbid counseling that is designed to help them identify with their birth sex.
In other words, counseling that encourages them to change their gender – even to go through irreversible sex-change operations – would be protected by the state. But counseling to help them accept their God-given birth sex would be outlawed.
Incredibly, such laws have already passed in California and a few other states. But it has also been stopped in many. That’s why your help is so urgently needed!
The bill would also affect counseling for unwanted same-sex attraction. This type of counseling has helped thousands of young people deal with unwanted same-sex attraction, which often arises out of sexual abuse. But if HB 587 passes, these young people will only be allowed to get counseling that encourages homosexuality.
Here’s what you can do:
- Please click here to send a note to each committee member that will be voting on this bill as soon as Tuesday. You can reach them all with just a click at our Action Center.
- Please pass this email along to friends so they can make their voice heard as well.
Thank you for taking action!
The Family Policy Alliance Team
A few weeks ago, Family Policy Alliance was proud to partner with state ally Cornerstone Action of New Hampshire in hosting a Legislative Briefing and Gender Identity Forum centered around the hot-button issue of gender identity. Stephanie Curry, Manager of Public Policy for Family Policy Alliance, spoke to legislators and the public on how changing the definition of “sex” in the law negatively impacts everyone. Shannon McGinley, Executive Director of Cornerstone, stated: “Stephanie’s information was a real eye-opener to everyone who attended Cornerstone’s briefing and forum on gender identity. She gave a clear and valuable explanation of how gender identity laws will affect education and public policy. Even after the forum was over, she was happy to stay and answer questions. We’ve been hearing ever since from attendees who appreciated her presentation.” Curry was joined by David Pickup, a licensed psychotherapist, who addressed what true healing looks like, and Rene Jax who shared her life-long struggle with gender identity, even after a sex-change operation.
Florida Governor urged to sign HB 1411 bill into law.
The Florida Legislature passed HB 1411, a bill that cuts state funding to abortion facilities, including Planned Parenthood.
If signed into law, the money that would have gone to Planned Parenthood now goes to hundreds of deserving low-cost community health clinics and women’s health centers.
“Republicans in the Florida Legislature are to be commended,” said John Stemberger, president of the Florida Family Policy Council, “for showing leadership and for doing the right thing by passing this historic piece of legislation.”
The bill now goes to Gov. Rick Scott for his signature. If signed, Florida would join Texas, Utah, Kansas, New Hampshire, Alabama, Arkansas and Louisiana in defunding Planned Parenthood.
“On behalf of thousands of Floridians who object to their taxes going to fund Planned Parenthood,” Stemberger said, “I continue to urge Gov. Scott to sign this good bill into law.”
