WHAT IS THE SOCIAL CONSERVATIVE ACADEMY?
The Academy is a collection of timely courses including issue briefings, communications training, grassroots lobbying, “how to” instruction, and more. Each class will illuminate a relevant topic through the insight of key policymakers, experts, and other public figures, leaving every student a better-informed and more effective advocate for family values.
Designed to accommodate your busy schedule, every Academy course is completely online. Courses are offered live throughout the year and on-demand with an interactive module. All sessions are timed to share the information you need in the quickest way possible!

WHAT WILL I LEARN?
The Social Conservative Academy will equip you to understand the challenging issues and related policies facing your family, and train you to effectively confront those challenges. In the first four courses, you will better grasp the hot-button issues of transgenderism and abortion while learning strategies for public advocacy, storytelling, coalition building, and grassroots activism.
Among our courses you will find:
- A Member of Congress and state legislators will teach you how to engage in the lawmaking process, sharing an insider’s view of effective activism in local, state, and federal government.
- A state Family Policy Council leader will encourage you with examples of grassroots activists who channeled their concerns into concrete action and secured significant victories.
- An All American NCAA athlete-turned activist will help you discover the power of storytelling in politics.
- A pro-family thought leader will explain how you can advance your values and win by building relationships with unlikely allies.
WHO CREATED AND HOSTS THE ACADEMY?
Family Policy Foundation is the education arm of Family Policy Alliance. Family Policy Foundation trains and educates statesmen and women serving in elected office – from Congress and state legislatures, to local school boards, and now, to engaged citizens. he Statesmen Academy has trained nearly 200 state lawmakers since 2016 and boasts a vibrant Alumni Community of pro-family champions in 36 state legislatures.
