LADONNA Y. LEE

Ladonna Lee is a strategic communications consultant based in Ft. Collins, Colorado. She counsels corporations, associations and coalitions in the areas of strategic planning and communications. She has extensive knowledge and experience in designing and managing public support campaigns for clients facing opposition or complex communications challenges or needing regulatory approval as well as positioning campaigns for corporations and associations. She also provides crisis management counsel.

Ladonna has coordinated campaigns for the U.S. and South Korea in their successful bids for the World Cup; directed a program for development of electoral assistance in emerging democracies for the U.S. Agency for International Development; and participated in international electoral programs.

She has provided strategic counsel to federal and state political campaigns and organizations. Her 35 years of experience in politics have included working for candidates and incumbents from the legislature to the White House.

Ladonna retired from the Washington, D.C., office of Foley & Lardner in September 2015. She served as vice chair of Foley’s Government & Public Policy Practice and was the Women Retention Chair.

Prior to joining Foley, Ladonna was president and co-owner of The Eddie Mahe Company, a communications and public affairs firm specializing in business, association and political communications. She also worked for the Republican National Committee. In her home state of Colorado, she worked in the Governor’s office and the Legislature. She attended the University of Northern Colorado.
