Christians Engaged Launches Historic Nationwide Event
Dear Friends,
On behalf of Family Policy Alliance Foundation’s sister ministry Christians Engaged, I am excited to announce the official launch of ​America Reads the Bible​, a historic, weeklong Bible reading event featuring national ministry leaders, elected officials, and influential Christian voices from across the country and from all spheres of influence.
Drawing from Ezra’s bold public proclamation of God’s Word (Nehemiah 8), and ahead of the United States’ 250th birthday, this sacred gathering hosted by Christians Engaged will feature a continuous public reading of Scripture from Genesis to Revelation April 18–25, 2026, from Washington, D.C., at the Museum of the Bible.
We are so honored to have ​Great American Pure Flix​ producing and live-streaming the event across the nation for us—and we’re partnering with 19 top ministries and organizations to bring this historic moment to life, with more to be announced soon.
Inspired by a vision the Lord laid on my heart during our ministry’s annual trip to D.C., America Reads the Bible is more than an event; it is a national call for us to return to the Word of God and to elevate it in every sphere of American life. From our nation’s capital to homes and church pews across the country, this movement aims to ignite revival, inspire discipleship, and unite the Body of Christ across denominations through the power and promise of God’s unchanging Holy Word.
