It wasn’t a surprising night, but it was massive nonetheless. Last night, President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump each overwhelmed their remaining opposition in Super Tuesday contests around the nation, adding hundreds of delegates in the quest for their parties’ nominations.

President Biden swept the Democratic contests in 15 states. On the Republican side, only a Nikki Haley win in Vermont kept former President Trump from a clean sweep. As a result, Ambassador Haley is suspending her campaign today.

All of this means that, apart from a dramatic development, the November election will offer a repeat of the 2020 race: Biden vs. Trump.

If you are a voter in one of the Super Tuesday states, you had the chance to make your voice heard. But wherever you are, you can make your voice heard now by participating in the Social Conservative Straw Poll.

The groundwork has been laid for the presidential race, but so much is still to happen this election year. Most states still have primary elections to determine nominees for thousands of races – from state legislatures to governorships to congressional seats.

Please continue to stand with Family Policy Alliance and our state allies as we mobilize social conservatives and illuminate voters on where the candidates really stand.

Praying and Acting,

John Paulton
Vice President, State Alliances

Friends,

Today is Super Tuesday and there are presidential primary elections or caucuses in 15 states, more than any other day in the 2024 election.

Keep reading to see if you are in a Super Tuesday state and find out how you can vote in another way right now…no matter where you live.

Super Tuesday Voters Speak Up!

If you live in Alabama, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont or Virginia, please remember to vote today.

In addition, Alaska and Utah residents have the opportunity to participate in party caucuses today as well.

What if You Are Not in a Super Tuesday State?

Even if you are not in a Super Tuesday state you can still vote today in the Social Conservative Straw Poll.

Recent months have seen the field of presidential candidates narrow significantly and we need social conservatives from every state to participate. In fact, as the field narrows, the social conservative vote becomes more and more impactful as we move toward election day.

We want to know who you support among the current candidates as well as your views on a few other burning issues.

Take the Social Conservative Straw Poll today and share it with your friends and family so they can vote too!

Sincerely,

Robert Noland

Dear Friends,

As we begin 2024 and look ahead, there are many topics looming large as major cultural, political and spiritual issues in our country. That’s why we want to start this year inviting you to join the Family Policy Alliance team in prayer for our nation.

Here are four of the most important issues that we are praying over as we have entered into the new year. (Be sure to see the end of this email for an opportunity to join us for prayer in a live online event tomorrow.)

Life

Pro-abortion forces are diligently and persistently seeking to challenge pro-life laws in nearly a dozen states this year by placing the outright legalization of abortion for any reason directly on the ballot. (So far, these are the states facing this challenge: Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Maryland, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New York and South Dakota.) If these efforts follow previous patterns, the abortion industry’s tactics will be dishonest and deceptive. Pro-life voters must push back with the truth and most importantly, show up to vote for life!

We are praying that:

Transgender Agenda

The transgender agenda is fiercely aggressive, and its messages lurk everywhere seeking to entice children into life-long decisions that lead to pain, regret and suicide. The hollow promise to children is one of ultimate self-determination as the solution to the challenges they face. In the end, however, it is a lifetime of dealing with the consequences of denying the reality of God’s creation of them as male or female.

We are praying that:

Parental Rights

Related to the prior topic, parents have, in recent years, become more aware of how schools are pushing numerous harmful agendas on their children. Whether it is transgender indoctrination, critical race theory, normalization of homosexuality or provision of pornography in reading materials, parents must be aware and vigilant when it comes to not only schools, but also doctors’ offices, libraries, social media and the entertainment industry, among many others who actively seek to push harmful ideas and abnormal worldviews on innocent children.

We are praying that:

Elections

This year brings us to another presidential election. We have seen nearly three years of radicalism, whether it be the taxpayer funding of abortion, attempts to erode religious freedom or the proliferation of transgender mandates throughout the entire federal government. This election has the chance to determine whether or not these dangerous abuses of power will be allowed to continue.

We are praying that:

These are but four issues (among many) that we see as critical for this year and they are just a beginning of where we would invite God’s influence in our culture.

Please add your own prayers to these as we move through the coming months. We encourage you to share these with your family and friends as well as your prayer groups, small groups and Sunday school classes.

You are invited to join us online tomorrow for a prayer livestream as we talk about and pray over these issues as well.

It Wasn’t a Debate … It Was Better

This year’s most unique and revealing presidential campaign event was held in downtown Des Moines on Friday. Family Policy Alliance joined with our Iowa ally, The Family Leader, for the Thanksgiving Family Forum – a roundtable conversation with the leading Republican presidential candidates, based on polling.

In recent weeks, the Republican National Committee objected to the Forum on the grounds that it was a non-sanctioned debate. But the RNC dropped its opposition after agreeing with The Family Leader’s CEO, Bob Vander Plaats, that the Forum wasn’t a debate, but rather a unique opportunity to get to know what makes the candidates tick.

Approximately 800 people crowded in to hear from three of the four leading Republican candidates:Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, Ambassador Nikki Haley and businessman Vivek Ramaswamy. Former President Donald Trump was invited but declined to attend.

What they heard included revealing glimpses into the candidates’ lives. For example, all three candidates, led by Gov. DeSantis, shared personal stories about difficult situations, including miscarriages, that shaped their convictions on the sanctity of life.

They also answered challenging questions:

C-SPAN carried the Forum live. To watch the full discussion or select clips, click here.

Off-year elections are often overlooked, but they play a crucial role in shaping our political landscape. These elections are often used to test hot-button issues on both sides of the aisle, before going full-force on the national stage. This year in Virginia, parental rights and abortion seem to be the dominating issues, potentially foreshadowing the Presidential race in 2024.

Joining Thursday’s live podcast to help us analyze this election is Victoria Cobb, President of The Family Foundation of Virginia. She’ll help us follow the money, analyze Gov. Younkin’s impact, and share how The Family Foundation will respond to potential outcomes.

With seventeen years of leadership at the helm, Victoria Cobb brings unparalleled insights into Virginia politics and policy. Her expertise extends beyond party lines, making her a valuable resource for dissecting this election cycle. Ask her your questions in the comments of our livestream!

Who would you choose for President in 2024? We want to know YOUR answer!

Throughout the year, mainstream media loves to cite polls telling us who they think will be president next and what Americans think about the latest political issues. Inevitably, many of these polls are written to engineer a woke outcome.

Often politicians, big tech, big business and the media simply choose to ignore conservative viewpoints because those aren’t the voices they want heard.

Family Policy Alliance wants to change that — to bring conservative voices to the forefront. That’s why today we are releasing the ONLY straw poll for social conservatives! YOUR voice deserves to be heard, and we want to know what’s on your mind!

Take this quick poll to tell us who you think should be President in 2024 and whether the country is headed in the right direction. Then, SHARE with your friends. We need as many conservative voices as possible to take this poll, so that we can tell the TRUTH about what so many Americans believe.

SHARE YOUR OPINION NOW

Will you raise your voice?

Sincerely,

Meridian Baldacci
Director o f Strategy

P.S. After you take the poll, don’t forget to share with friends. The more people that take the poll, the harder it will be for the media to ignore.
