What will 2018 bring for our state? Will it be the year that the Dawgs win the national title? Will it be a year of prosperity and a thriving culture?
Or, will 2018 be the year Georgia lurches permanently leftward? Will we remember this as the year that sets the stage for the state forcing you to separate your faith from your business? Where school choice is severely limited? Where we elect a governor intent on making Georgia look more like California than the God-honoring state we are trying to forge?
As we enter 2018, the threats are many. A daunting election cycle, freedom-threatening legislation, and further encroachment on your rights and values are what the Left is working to shove down our throat here in Georgia.
But, that is why we are here.
For us, 2018 is a year of opportunity to move Georgia closer to a state where God is honored, religious freedom flourishes, families thrive, and life is cherished.
This year, we will have the opportunity to labor to elect a pro-family warrior as our next governor. We will work to identify and support others who will fight for our values at the Golden Dome. Our legislative agenda will actively promote the family. More Georgia Statesmen will be trained at the Statesmen Academy in Colorado Springs. Further progress will be made to network our Statesmen, pro-family leaders, and influencers as we forge strategic partnerships that make the difference. More education, information, and opportunities will be brought to the Church to empower God-glorifying action. More business leaders will be networked to stand strong against liberal out-of-state money interests.
Most importantly, we will empower believers to serve their King by standing firm and speaking out in the public square.
Opportunities abound in 2018, and, while I do not know what God has in store, I know this: He demands that we be bold. He demands we take action. He demands our obedience.
So, as we enter 2018, I ask that you pray that we succeed in our endeavors, that we seize upon the opportunities the Lord provides, and, most importantly, I ask for prayers that we remain faithful to His Word, His will, and His call to act and to lead.
It is an honor to serve you. This is a critical year for our state, and it is a privilege to partner with you for the glory of the King.
