Have you heard others say, “What if the LGBTQ curriculum decreases bullying?”
Let’s be clear, any bullying, harassment or abuse should not be tolerated by anyone. If students are participating in that type of behavior, they should be disciplined. Everyone, regardless of sexual preferences or gender identity should be treated kindly and fairly.
However, indoctrinating students with post-modern beliefs and cultural Marxism to confront and dismantle the moral foundations of Western Civilization has nothing to do with bullying. As I researched Garden State Equality’s curriculum, it became apparent this material is not about diversity and understanding. Their intent is to alter the way students think and apply social peer pressure to regulate the way students speak.

When Words No Longer Have Meaning
A major thought leader in post-modernism was Jacques Derrida. He went after the tradition of Judeo/Christian influence in Western Civilization and introduced the majority of ideas influential in Deconstructionism – the critical outlook concerned with the relationship between text and meaning. He had a desire to re-evaluate all Western values.
This is never more visible than in the discussion over gender identity. The definition and understanding of a boy and girl are under intense criticism. To reject any differences between males and females is an unscientific and post-modernist way of viewing human sexuality. Yet, this is exactly the material that 5th graders, specifically 10 and 11-year-olds, will have to digest as part of Garden State Equality’s indoctrination program. They will be instructed to use transgender pronouns in English class and to question their own gender identity and expression in health class.
In the final analysis, post-modernists want to eliminate any sense of objective truth in our culture. Their basic assumption is truth does not exist, insisting feelings must overrule facts. This is a direct assault on the revealed knowledge of scripture. Namely, there is a creative order under the sovereignty of a Creator who has formed the reality of the world that we are living in.
