There’s nothing that breaks my heart more than seeing a young girl of 18 begin taking cross-sex hormones and watching the physical changes begin that I know she will regret later in life. Transgender ideology is affecting more and more people I know, and I’ll bet it’s the same with you because this harmful ideology is sweeping our nation, and our youth are the targets.

Family Policy Alliance is committed to turning the tide in this battle by EQUIPPING you with information and practical tools to help you make a difference in your country, your state, and even your own family. On Friday, October 15, we’re offering a FREE online event to EQUIP you with information and practical tools to make a difference in your country, your state, and even your own family. The Help Not Harm Summit will start at 10:30 eastern time and features a number of excellent presenters. You can register and see the full agenda here.

But that’s not all, I’ve been privileged to help plan a first of its kind conference here in Rhode Island, with the Ministry Training Network of New England: ‘What the Bible Says About Gender and Sexuality.’ Our plenary speakers will be Dr, J. Alan Branch, professor of Christian Ethics at Midwestern Seminary in Kansas City, MO and Dr. Michelle Cretella, Executive Director of the American College of Pediatricians. They will cover the biblical and medical perspective of sexuality. And, then we have planned breakout sessions/workshops to help you flesh out your response to this issue in several different areas.

#1 Born This Way? Homosexuality, Science, and Scripture – J. Alan Branch

#2 Answering Your Trans Questions Plus Resources for Parents – Q&A with Dr. Michelle Cretella.

#3 This is Not the Sex-ed Your Mother and Father Got When They Were in School! – Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) – David Aucoin, Chair of the Family Policy Alliance – Rhode Island.

#4 Welcoming and Transforming: How to Preach the Gospel with Open Doors but without Embracing Sexual Sin – Religious liberty attorney Andrew Beckwith will discuss the many new legal challenges Christians are facing at work, in school, and even at church on issues related to human sexuality.

#5 Raising Sexually Healthy Kids: Guiding Biblical Principles for Parents – Chap Bettis, Executive Director of the Apollos Project. Mom and Dad, you have the most influence of anyone on your children.

#6 Helping Teens and College Students Navigate Gender and Sexuality Issues – Matt Henderson, URI Campus Minister, Rhody Christian Fellowship. This session will seek to give a biblical approach to help students navigate through their own confusing desires, as well as helping their peers.”

#7 Religious Liberty: Navigating the Changing Culture and How to Protect Your Ministry – Shannon Kendrick, Regional Alliance Director for ADF’s Church and Ministry Alliance. How can you be proactive and prepare without becoming a lightning rod in the media and the courts?

#8 How Did We Get Where We Are Today? Roots of the Current Acceptance of the LGBTQ+ Agenda – Russell Kraines, International Liaison for Teach Beyond. How did current unquestioning acceptance by the mainstream of the LGBTQ+ agenda come to be so little challenged by influential voices in politics, media, and general culture? Where might we be headed?

#9 Same-Sex Attraction and the Church: Compassion without Compromise – Brenna Simonds, Director of Alive in Christ. Hear Brenna’s personal story and discover how to love well and minister to those impacted by same-sex attraction and gender dysphoria.

This conference will be held on October 29-30 at Quidnessett Baptist Church, 6356 Post Rd, North Kingstown and well worth your time and expense. You don’t want to miss this one.
